What is What's Your Number?

What’s Your Number? is a place where students, alumni, faculty, staff, family and friends can celebrate and connect over their Towson University experiences. We’re asking people to tell us the special numbers that define their TU experience and share the stories behind them.

Is there a cost to share my story?

No. What’s Your Number? is completely free, although donations to Towson University are a great way to give back. Go to www.towson.edu/supporttu to learn more.

Is What's Your Number only open to alumni?

No. If you have a special number that represents your Towson University experience, then we want to hear about it. We encourage current students, faculty, staff, family and friends as well as alumni to share their numbers.

Submitting Your Number

How can I submit my number?

It’s easy. Start with the form page. Then provide the requested information and upload a photo or video link that helps tell your story. And make sure you check the “Opt In” and “I have read the terms and conditions” boxes. Then hit “Submit Your Story.”

What other media can I submit to help tell my story?

You can upload a photo or a video link with your story. The accepted formats are PNG or JPG for photos and a YouTube link for video . The minimum photo width is 600 px and the ideal width is 1000 px.

Will my story be made public?

Yes, your story will be shared online and perhaps used in printed materials.

How long should I make my story?

You can use as much space as it takes to tell the story behind your number. You can also submit one photo or YouTube link per story. We recommend that you keep any video content under 10 minutes.

How will I know if my story has been posted to the site?

We’ll send an email containing a link to your story once it’s posted on our site.

How do I remove or change my story, photo or video?

To have your story, photo or video removed, or to request a change to your story, please email us at wyninfo@towson.edu.

How To Explore the Site

There are three easy ways to explore this site and the stories behind people's numbers.

1. Go to the home page and click any of the numbers.
   
2. Click on View All Stories to see all of the stories, beginning with the most recent submissions.
   
3. Use the "Search" box in the top right-hand corner of the page to search for a specific "tag" or category like a number, name, event, etc.
