I was married in 1948 and we lived in Pennsylvania where I taught 2nd grade. During the time my navy husband was in Korea, I taught a short time in Baltimore. We moved to California and I taught school there mostly as a substitute because my children were small and at home. We then came to New Mexico were I taught 17 years in Albuquerque. I taught till I could receive a pension and that retirement is ongoing. Towson's education was great! I've never regretted attending State Teacher's College.
