I began my college education in 1964. Over the next 4 years I morphed from a shy, naive teenager into a well educated young woman ready to take on the world. College at Towson, was a wonder to me, introducing me to a vibrant, new world. I was stimulated and intrigued by the new ideas and concepts presented to me. For the first time in my life, I was encouraged to think instead of just giving back in note form what I had been taught. My mind opened like a budding flower, absorbing everything intellectual, social and cultural as if it was sunlight. I was blessed with a predominance of great teachers, with PhD's, no teaching assistants and small classes. I am forever grateful.
