I finally finished my Masters Program in Elementary Education and graduated in January, 1986. My one year old son was there and when I came off the stage and down the aisle, my husband had him there to see me. That made all the years of struggle and hard work worthwhile! It was also freezing cold that night and past his bedtime, so I sent them both home right after. My parents and one set of grandparents were there to share my success, and I felt so loved, and so proud of my achievement. Looking back, I don't know how I taught full-time, pursued a Masters, and raised a baby. Must have been the wonder of youth...
