Since graduating from Towson University in 1990, I have focused on continuing my nursing career and my family. Presently, I am employed at Howard County General Hospital as the Admission Resource Manager/Shift Director. I have also completed my Master of Science Degree from Johns Hopkins University. I am very proud of my three children, Thomas, Jennifer and Alicia. Thomas graduated from UVA law school this past June. He is employed in Norfolk, Virginia. Jennifer is a third grade teacher and was married to Tristan Cope this past summer. Alicia, my youngest is 16 years old. She is a junior at Our Lady of Good Counsel HS in Olney, Maryland. She is a honor student and is on the varsity soccer team and softball teams. She plays club soccer for Bethesda soccer club and is looking at colleges.

I have taught political science at Elizabethtown College, Elizabethtown, PA since 1990. I am the author of "Russell Kirk and the Age of Ideology," (University of Missouri Press, 2004). Dr. Eric Belgrad, Political Science Department, was my mentor.
