I consider 332011 to be my number because March 3, 2011, is an important date for me. In the Fall of 2010, I advanced from being a senator on the Student Government Association (SGA), and president of the Latin American Student Organization (LASO) my sophomore year to becoming the Director of Diversity Outreach for the SGA in my junior year... Needless to say I was very busy between various meetings, events, and campus involvement. As the 2011 spring semester got rolling, I was honored to be the first student recipient of the President's Diversity Award for my efforts in making Towson University a more inclusive and welcoming campus. It is something I am very proud of and will remember forever when I look back on my years as a Towson Tiger.
