I transferred from Catonsville Community College as a junior in 1974. My first reaction when attending TU was, "oh no! This is real college!". I got 2 B's, two D's, and two F's my first semester. I dropped out of school. I found Jesus Christ in 1976. The first instruction was, "Go back to school and get your Bachelor's Degree." I did. It was one of the best decisions I ever made. I honed my writing skills, practiced radio and aced my public relations project. My TV final was less than perfect. I learned a valuable lesson: "a final exam should be a show how much you learned and not an incomplete effort." Later I get a perfect grade on my public relations project and great grades on my TV writing and film projects. I got a 3.4 GPA my last 60 credits to finish with a 3.1. When you put forth your best effort, you create opportunities. I spent three years in radio. I became a top printing salesperson. Now I am a published author, releasing my second book. I love TU!
